My 88th deviation!

So I was on Tumblr yesterday when I found some posts here and there about people being rude about the Jack/Merida pairing and even exposing the group to a lot of widespread hate. So Nix of Tumblr, If you're seeing this photo right now, Every Jack/Merida shipper doesn't care about what you or every hater on Tumblr says. Jack/Merida as canon or not will STILL be around. Haters are always gonna hate, Your sticks and stones can break our bones, but words CAN'T take the group or the supporters down!!!

Out of common sense, I think the biggest question here is how much Merida enjoys cold weather. Certainly living in a country like Scotland would make her used to cold weather, but does she like it. Also, where Merida is more just concerned about having control over her own fate, Jack is more willing to have fun at the expense of others. This relationship could really be viable if these obstacles can be overcome.

I guess to some people that wouldn't make any sense either XD

i think there's a misunderstanding here.....
i don't hate jack/merida?? i actually think it's fairly adorable! my original intention was just saying i was surprised about this pairing because i didn't expect it to be this popular.
though i do understand my post can be read as negative, in hindsight, and i was kind of a jerk putting it in the pairing tag. i'm really, really sorry about that. i'll take it down if you'd like.

Because I thought that it appealed to me more than any other character that Jack's been paired with. Some people even told me it's because both Merida and Jack are free-spirited and rebellious. But you gotta understand, Pairings are based on what appeals you the most. I mean, come on, Almost everyone treats the Jack/Merida pairing like it's a crime and you're only allowed to support what people want to support. The main thing is, to set the record straight, is that it's all made for creative purposes only and it's not meant to be taken seriously. People on Tumblr who support stuff like Jack/Tooth, Jack/Rapunzel, or whatever just don't understand the importance of creativity or even a sense of imagination.

Haha they are just stupid. They are letting something as small as a fanon pairing ruffle their feathers. If she's so afraid of a simple group requesting to put her artwork in then that's her problem. All she has to do is press that lovely little reject button and move on her merry way. It's not even something that warrants a whole tumblr post about.

But just to address her little rant...it's fiction honey, get over it. We don't have to make excuses for anything, just enjoy a fun little pairing that doesn't harm anyone.
